New website helps relieve stress
A Witney-based holistic health business is educating people in the benefits of massage thanks to its new website. Lisa Wheeler decided to retrain as a complementary therapist to help other people improve their health and enhance the quality of their life when she felt emotionally exhausted herself, following a demanding career in social work and education.
‘After spending 15 years working with young people and their families who were, in one way or another, dealing with the more difficult aspects of life, I knew I still wanted to be able to help people improve their lives in some way. Holistic massage helps to alleviate some of the stresses of everyday life and brings real benefit to people’s sense of well being, including improved sleep, circulation and digestion,’ explains Lisa.
Lisa adds ‘I appreciate the importance of a good website for communicating to my existing and prospective clients, but, like most new businesses, I don’t have unlimited funds available to spend. So to start with a friend’s teenage son built me a website, but that arrangement ran into problems when his exams had to take priority over working on my site.
I soon realised that I needed a solution which would enable me to be in control, but be affordable at the same time. Following a recommendation from another Oxfordshire businesswoman, I contacted IRUN Business Intelligence and I now have a professional website which is easy to maintain and only costs me a few pounds a month. It is a perfect solution for a business of my size.’
